VAGUE TOMES is a modern take on slow, considered journalism.
Powered by a global community of thought leaders and cultural producers, TOMES is a collection of stories and perspectives that prioritize quality over quantity. We don’t aim to publish 100 articles a day, overwhelming readers in an already-congested digital media landscape. Instead, we curate communal observations of the world around us, the creative industry our agency and members operate in, and the social spaces we occupy according to a breathable thematic editorial calendar that encourages introspection, connection, reinterpretation and dialogue.
This is the journal for writers and image makers who wish to know their audience, and vice versa.

Not a member yet? Not to worry, some of our editorial segments are occasionally open for public submissions. These include interview requests, as well as our Black Man’s Letter series providing a safe space for Black male / masc people.
